Stitch Fix #50

Hi, I’m Shannon and I LOVE subscription boxes! I don’t know what it is, but I think they are so much fun. Maybe because it’s the only “good” mail that I get!?

One of the perks of Stitch Fix is that you think something may not be your style and it becomes your new favorite piece! Another huge perk is that it is delivered to your door! Have you ever gone shopping and you look in the mirror and you feel extra bloated, etc? With the box, you have 5 days to try things on, it’s great!

If you aren’t familiar, Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you initially sign up, you take an in-depth survey that asks you about your clothing size, personal style, and price preferences. Your stylist handpicks five items based on your preferences within the survey. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping as well as free returns. If you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!

They send you a free return bag, that you can drop in any mailbox. They now have kids, men’s, maternity, etc.

Anyway, I am the Vice President of the Newport, NH Area Chamber of Commerce and we have our annual meeting coming up next week, February 6th. I don’t have much business wear because I have the fireworks store and the fitness studio, so I asked my stylist for business casual outfits. I recently lost the stylist that I loved and had forever, but my new stylist, Heather has been hitting it out of the park lately!

To be honest, I really LOVE everything! I think the blazer and the midi dress are quite flattering on my body type. See, this is the perfect example, I would NEVER have picked out either of these for myself and now I’m actually leaning towards this outfit for the annual dinner next week.

The next outfit was great as well and I think she recommended wearing the blazer with it. I absolutely love these pants. They are pull on, have a cute little pattern and they fit like a glove.

This short dress is amazing!! I love it and might wear this to the annual dinner. 🤷🏼‍♀️
