About Me

I am Shannon (Obey) MacMichael. I’m a mother, lover, small business owner, Zumba Fitness instructor and a lover of life!

In my 37 years on this planet, I’ve been through many ups and downs, but I am determined to not let anything slow me down! I gave birth to my very best friends and loves of my life, Levi and Owen. I truly believe I was put on this planet to be their mom.

I own a retail fireworks store, Noise “R” Us Fireworks in Newport, NH and I own Feelin’ PHAT Fitness, a fitness studio in Newbury, NH. I am the Executive Director of the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce and the President of the KRES Bradford PTO. Life is busy, but I absolutely LOVE everything that I’m involved in! It is my goal to create a life that I don’t need a vacation from, and so far, so good!

I love to laugh, dance, sing, ski, snowboard, snowmobile, exercise and spend time on Lake Sunapee. I am loud, crazy and I tend to get overly excited about most things! I am bold, passionate, adventurous, late for everything (they say being late is a sign of optimism, so that’s what I’m going with) and some people refer to me as a beautiful disaster.

This blog will focus on the joys (and non joys) of motherhood, business, staying in shape, trying to be fashion forward and trying to keep it all together!
